Privacy

Beta notice. Refna is in beta. This page describes how the product works today, in plain words.

What we store

• Your runs: the address you submitted, the links found, and what we read from each destination. Only you can see your runs.
• Your account: an anonymous identity until you add an email; your email after that.
• Usage counts: how many runs and descriptions you've used this month, to apply plan allowances.
• A hashed network identifier: a salted hash of your IP address, used only to limit abuse. We never store the IP itself.

What is shared between users

Public metadata about a destination (its title, description and icon) may be reused for other users who collect the same plain public address, so we don't fetch the same page repeatedly. What you submitted, where links were found, and your run history are never shared.

Retention

Guest runs are deleted after 24 hours unless you save them with an email. Saved runs are kept for 30 days on the Free plan. You can delete a run at any time.

Processors

We use Supabase (database and authentication) and Vercel (hosting).
